What are the powertrain options?

The Wrangler offers a range of engines, starting with the base 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with a six-speed manual transmission (eigh-speed automatic is optional). The next engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine capable of 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque while a 3.0-liter diesel engine will be available later in the model year. New to the Wrangler lineup is Jeep's eTorque mild-hybrid system, which employs an electric motor-generator that replaces the alternator to store energy for later use. Otherwise, the Wrangler engines come with electronic start/stop technology. The Wrangler offers a best-in-class approach angle of 44 degrees, departure angle of 37 degrees, ground clearance of 10.9 inches, and breakover angle of 27.8 degrees, making the Wrangler better equipped for even the toughest terrain. Even the base Sport model comes with the Command-Trac NV241 part-time, two-speed transfer case, which features a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio. For even more off-road ruggedness, the Rubicon model adds heavy-duty axles, and a two-speed transfer case Rock-Trac NV241 with a 4.0:1 low-range gear ratio.

What other features are available for the 2020 Wrangler?

With the Wrangler's iconic look and a modern, sophisticated design, the 2020 Wrangler is the most comfortable and equipped Wrangler to date. The lightweight aluminum doors are removable, and the soft-top is easily removed, especially if you add the Sky One-touch, which works at the push of a button at up to 60 mph. The base Sport model comes with push-button ignition, an 8-speaker audio system with USB/AUX inputs, and fold-down windshield. An upgrade to the Sport S model adds keyless entry while the Black and Tan special edition model adds a larger information display and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. The Rubicon model comes fully equipped with off-road features, including rock rails, special tires, and upgraded cloth upholstery. The Wrangler comes in three primary trims with a range of available sub-trims, all with their own unique set of features.
