An Off-Road RAM Truck Put to the Test

1263 × 724Here at Gillman Chrysler Jeep® Dodge RAM, we know that drivers expect a lot from their trucks. That's why our versatile RAM trucks can handle just about everything, from tough work sites to bad weather and rough off-road conditions. Speaking of going off-road, few models can handle these conditions like the RAM Rebel. Now it's getting an upgrade. The new RAM Rebel TRX was just caught testing.

The RAM Rebel TRX is designed to take on just about anything. It was recently spotted in Michigan's Silver Lake Sand Dunes. If you've ever tried to drive in sand, you know that not just any vehicle can handle it. This RAM Rebel TRX prototype is built for that and much more.

Many of the details about the RAM Rebel TRX are under wraps at the moment, and these test mules were spotted with quite a bit of camouflage on them. It was even hard to determine how much lift this model gets. We have heard a few details about this capable pickup truck though. The concept had an output of 525 horsepower, but this new take on the RAM Rebel TRX will reportedly be much more powerful. It wouldn't be a surprise to see it with the 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 engine and an output of over 700 horsepower! Recent rumors indicate that some versions might even get the 840 horsepower engine found in the Dodge Demon. Either way, it looks like we're getting a powerful off-road pickup truck that is ready for anything you can throw at it. We can't wait to learn more about this model in the coming months.
